Sep 22, 2017Try Best Boat Wire. com The manual calls for 10 ga. primary however when I got mine there was an update for 8 ga. I used 10 ga because I had already ordered the wire. Tip order 100 ft of white wire and mark the ends with tape or marker if you have a long run. Get price

help installing windlass in f32

Apr 09, 2008I plan on installing a Maxwell 600 windlass on my f32 without a pulpit. It seems that to center it above the rope locker would place it in front of the two cleats on the bow. This seems too close to the tip of the bow. Any suggestions on which anchor and anchor roller to use would be appreciated. I have planned on using a Delta anchor. Get price

Dec 07, 2019I think it's time we consider a windlass with a chain gypsy. Have any 310 owners made this upgrade? Thoughts, pics, suggestions? My initial thought is something like the Lewmar Pro-Series, unsure if the 700 or 1,000. Depends how you are wired now. Mine was direct switched and wired from the switches but the 1000 draws more so they provided a new switch and contactor so had to rewire a little behind these (they also send a new overload/isolator as part of the kit.)
